CBN INTERNAL GRINDING WHEEL

CBN Internal Grinding Wheels are used for jigs and internal grinding and precision grinding of small boles in Tungsten carbide, Ceramics, Sapphire, Glass, Stones and other non-metallics. Electroplated CBN Internal Grinding Wheels are suitable for hard ferrous materials over 45 HRC such as High Carbon, High Chrome Steel, Tungstan Carbide etc.,

SPEEDS : Recommended Speeds are between 25 and 30m/Sec.for Diamond Wheels and 30 to 60 m/Sec.for CBN Wheels.

FEEDS : Suggested Feeds for Jig or Internal Grinding are from 0.005 to 0.01 mm per pass.

COOLANTS : Coolants should be used wherever possible, but can be used dry successfully. Organic Coolants are preferred of rCBN Tools.

USEFUL GRINDING HINTS : Keep Tool over abng as short as possible. One half of the Grinding Point should stay in contact at the end of the stroke.
